How we handle personal data on this website and in the LogicWeft Salon plugin. The short version: we collect very little, and your salon's data stays on your own site.
Last updated: 31 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website or contact us, and how the LogicWeft Salon plugin handles data on your own website. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
LogicWeft Salon is made by Logicweft ("we", "us"), based in Andhra Pradesh, India. You can reach us at [email protected].
This website
No accounts, no tracking cookies, no analytics. The site is a set of static pages. We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and we do not set cookies ourselves.
Some data is processed by the services that deliver the site:
- Hosting. Our server, run by Hostinger, keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time) to keep the site running and secure. These logs are kept for a short time and are not used to identify you.
- Cloudflare. The site is delivered through Cloudflare for speed and protection against attacks. Cloudflare processes your IP address and may set a strictly necessary security cookie. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts. This website's fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address when you open a page. See Google's privacy policy. (The plugin itself bundles its fonts and loads nothing from Google.)
When you email us or join the waitlist
The waitlist form opens your own email app and sends us an email; nothing is stored by the website itself. When you email us, we receive your email address, name (if your email shows it) and whatever you write.
We use it only to reply to you and, if you asked, to send you the Pro launch email you asked for. We don't sell it, share it for marketing or add you to other lists. Ask us at any time and we'll delete it.
The LogicWeft Salon plugin on your website
LogicWeft Salon runs on your WordPress and WooCommerce site. Your services, appointments and your clients' details (names, phone numbers, email addresses, notes and allergy information) are stored in your own database, under your control. Logicweft does not receive that data.
The free plugin sends nothing to any outside service. The only third-party link it shows is "Add to Google Calendar" on a client's confirmation: when the client clicks it, their browser opens Google Calendar with the appointment's details in the link.
As the salon running the website, you are responsible for your own clients' data and for having a privacy policy on your site. WordPress and WooCommerce include tools to help, such as personal data export and erasure.
If we ever add an optional feature that sends data to us (for example licence checks for LogicWeft Salon Pro, or opt-in usage statistics), we will describe it here and in the plugin before it is switched on.
LogicWeft Salon Pro
LogicWeft Salon Pro is not on sale yet. When it is, we plan to sell it through the WooCommerce Marketplace (WooCommerce.com), where payment and billing details are handled by WooCommerce.com under its privacy policy. We would receive the details needed to provide support and licences, such as your name, email address and the site URL. We will update this section before Pro goes on sale.
Legal basis (for visitors in the EU and UK)
We process data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure website and answering messages, and on your consent when you join the waitlist. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or the GDPR), you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to stop using it. Email [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
How long we keep data
Emails are kept as long as needed to deal with your request, and waitlist addresses until the Pro launch email you asked for has been sent or you ask us to remove them. Server logs are kept only for a short period.
Children
This site and LogicWeft Salon are meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
