Stylists
For stylists and therapists: your day on your phone, the client in the chair, Start and Finish, allergies and notes, and adding retail.
As a stylist you see one screen, My day: your own appointments for today, on your phone. You don't see other stylists' days, sales or settings.
Signing in
Open the salon app address your salon gives you (it ends in /salon-app/) and sign in with the login the owner set up for you. Then add it to your home screen so it opens like an app: see Install it to the home screen.
My day
The top of the screen is the client who matters most right now:
- the client in your chair, if there is one;
- otherwise the first client who has arrived and is waiting for you;
- otherwise your next client.
Below are the rest of your day's appointments.
For the current client you see:
- the services and a timer while they're in the chair;
- a red allergy banner when they have allergies or contraindications on file;
- their latest notes from the client card (the owner chooses how many, three by default), and the latest formula notes.
Start and Finish
- Start when the client sits down. If the front desk hasn't marked them arrived yet, Start does that too. The front desk sees the card move to In chair.
- Finish when you're done. The card moves to Finished at the front desk, where the client pays.
Adding retail
While the client is with you, Add retail adds a product (a shampoo, a serum) to their ticket: search for it, choose a quantity and press Add. It goes on the same WooCommerce order as the service, so the front desk takes one payment for both.
Only products that are in stock can be added.
Not in the chair yet?
If a client doesn't turn up or you're running late, tell the front desk: they mark no-shows and set delays from their screens.
